Calling all couples who were married at St. Andrew!

valentines_homecomingOver the past fifty years hundreds of couples have celebrated one of the most important days of their lives here at the altar in our sanctuary. They’ve gone on to raise children –and grandchildren. That means St. Andrew has touched the lives of thousands of people in our community just through the marriages performed here. Sunday, February 14th we’d like to invite them back – a sort of Valentine’s Homecoming for those for those couples married at St. Andrew Presbyterian.

Now, if you are particularly pleased with the way that marriage turned out – and what a great job our church did in bringing you together, you can even make a small contribution to our building campaign. Say, a dollar a year – or whatever you think those wonderful years together are worth. Husbands – ask your wives. ;-)

Seriously though – a contribution really isn’t necessary. We simply want to recognize the importance of marriage in our lives, in our church, and in our community this Valentine’s Day. Any support you want to provide, however, would go a long way towards helping us as we complete this important phase of our building program and help provide needed facilities for those new families who find their start here at St. Andrew in the years to come.
Just for fun, prizes will be given for:

  • Longest marriage
  • Most Recent marriage (you know — newlyweds!)
  • Most children
  • Most grandchildren

You were married — but not here? Well that’s OK, you’re an important part of our church family and your contributions and support would be welcomed.

Were you married at St. Andrew? Do you know someone who was? Drop us a note!
